Domesticated art

It's a Saturday morning in early April. The cherry trees are in bloom, and I am waiting for Arian to decide to get out of bed. I have been on a hiatus from my studio due to environmental factors, ie: my current studio is in our basement, I am pregnant and can't stand the mustiness and cat box odors. Luckily, my husband loves me, he is moving my studio equipment to the first floor of our little row-house here in South Philly. Our eat-in kitchen has never been et in due to our lack of table and chairs. I will have my own little artist niche right there in the kitchen. I suppose I can cook my man dinner whilst creating martha stewartesque framed flower petals or something gross like that. A good little wifey I will be. Anyway, blah blah, expect to see some new stuff up on the site in a few weeks. I am working smaller and on paper currently. A tad less toxic for the little nugget I am baking in my belly. 19 weeks. only 21 more to go. and then...well...that's a whole different story.

Well, here i am...recently acquainted with Amy...and her baking bun...and her man. I am sitting here in my office - trying to work while wearing wet shoes - after a day in the rain choosing plants to pull for Exton.

I am glad i checked out your site - gives me a break from here.
